Schooner Smartly Manoeuvred By Captain. A CLEVER RESCUE. SYDNEY, October 7. On the voyage of the auxiliary schooner Piri, which arrived yesterday at Sydney from Greymouth, two sea men, Laing and West, were washed over board by a huge wave. This occurred on the evening of September 25. There was no chance of lowering a boat, but Captain Watt manoeuvred the schooner so as to give the men smooth water on the lee side. They werq hauled on board again after 17 minutes'-immer-sion; The entire voyage was marked by violent storms.
