(Received 10 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, October 7. , Every inhabitant of Angora, man. woman and child, must attend special courses at extempore schools, held in coffee houses, casinos and other places of amusement, to learn the new alphabet, the instructors being Ministers and Deputies. The highbrows are superintended by Mustapha Kemal. Ono of three officers was arrested at Broussa for • disparaging the alphabet and imprisoned for a year. The others were acquitted.
