LIBERALISM AND LABOUR.

You comment on the proposed alliance of the two parties in the House of Commons. This is what I have been trying to hammer into the minds the people of this Dominion, that if they wish to defeat the Reform Government the only way of bringing it about is to combine tlte forces of Liberalism and Labour. I am satisfied it is the only course. The Great War was an object lesson to the world. Will the old and seasoned general, Sir Joseph Ward, with the combined forces, be able to dislodge the enemy from their stronghold? I put the proposition forward for what it is worth. J. GRACIE.
