SUCCESSFUL DANCE.
The Point Erin Tea Kiosk presented a very bright scene on Saturday evening when the members of the fonsonby Cruising Club held their annual dance. There were over 200 dancers, and things went with a swing from start to finish. Halloween decorations made the Kiosk most attractive, and formed a novel setting for the many pretty frocks that were worn. Members of the committee present were: Mrs. S. Dryland, who wore a frock of silver crepe de chine; Miss L. Newcombe, rose pink georgette; Miss L. Arthur, ivory georgette over amethyst; Miss E. Smythe, apple green georgette; Miss J. Howes, eau de nil green satin with tiered net skirt. Among others present were: Mrs. Thompson, wearing powder blue georgette; Mrs. Howes, brown crepe de chine, beaded; Mrs. Arthur, peacock blue beaded georgette; Mrs. Millar, royal blue crepe de chine with gold embroideries; Mrs. Mackay, black with Oriental trimming; Mrs. Pycroft, lemon georgette and silver lace; Mrs. Brett, silver tissue georgette and silver sequins; Mrs McConnell, frilled black net over satin; Miss McKenzie, black georgette gown with blue sequin trimming; Miss D. Blucher, mauve brocaded georgette with tiered skirt; Miss E. Leaning, Nile green frock with uneven hem; Miss I. Kiely, apricot lace frock; Miss Smith, cyclamen crepe de chine and silver, posy; Miss E. Kiely, sunburst georgette frilled frock; Miss W. Corley, black ring ■ velvet; Miss Punch, silver lame and white georgette; Miss E. Parker, primrose crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss U. Parker, almond green taffeta; Miss S. Whittle, lemon georgette; Miss P. Russell, floral silver lame with tulle bow; Mis's J. McNeal, cyclamen taffeta, inset with green net; Miss S. Hill, cyclamen taffeta and lace shawl; Miss I. Dunnis, peach taffeta; Miss Pipe, ivory satin and georgette with diamante trimmings; Miss Sedgwick, flame shot taffeta; Miss M. Ratcliffe, blue embossed chenille; Miss K. Whittle, pink frilled net over georgette; Miss Evans, peach -satin and lace; Miss Totman, mauve georgette and silver lace overdress; Miss G. Trevethick, silver lame and rose taffeta; Miss D. Macey, peach and gold over lace; Miss A. Anderson, mauve taffeta and gold lace; Miss Macey, apple green taffeta and cream lace; Miss F. Saunders, scarlet velvet and gold lace; Miss F. Saunders, rose georgette; Miss Lewin, Nile green, with taffeta petalled hem; Miss Thompson, coffee lace over green taffeta: Miss I. Mowbray, black taffeta lace with uneven hem; Miss F. Francis, gold embroidered peach georgette and gold lace; Miss Cook, palest pink taffeta with uneven hem; Miss R. Darby, apple green frilled frock; Miss R. Mollov, jade green sreorgette and silver lace; Miss Douglas. Nile green petalled georgette and silver lame; Miss E. Molloy, ciel blue georgette and silver lace.
