THE PROHIBITION PROBLEM.
"In the United States the suggestion that prohibition is an evil is laughed at," declared Pastor W. Anderson, of Australia, in the course of an address in the Strand Theatre last evening. He said the general health of North American people was better than it had been for years. The death rate had been reduced, trade had improved, motor car sales had increased by hundreds, banks were doing more business and charity societies were 1 dealing with about 74 per cent less cases of poverty. "Everywhere there are signs of prosperity and smiling faces," was another statement by lecturer.
