In reply the Minister of Agriculture said that in view of the fact that the control boards are yested with wide powers of control over the produce owned by all interests, proprietary as well as co-operative, and having regard to the influence which the exercise of those powers could exert upon the welfare of the producers and the consumers of the Dominion, the Government was of the opinion that it was only equitable that all interested and immediately concerned, and also the Government, should have direct representation on tho board.
