MINOR FIRES.
Three minor outbreaks of fire between yesterday afternoon and this morning were suppressed by the City Fire Brigade. A rubbish fire under a house in Vincent Place, owned by Mr. W. Castle and occupied by Mrs. Williams, was extinguished before . any damage was done. A mattress on fire last night at No. 4,..Beresford Street, and.a motor car, owned by Mr. A. E. Upton, on fire in Emily place this inorningvalsp . required the services of tho/ brigade. I
