KAURI GUM CONTROL.
I am much interested in this subject. I could never find who asked for this board of control. Tho board now reports that giim can be used to manufacture sealing wax. ; Probably with another year's control it will 1 be cheap enough to make bricks. Merchants .< have, sold out their stocks and have no interest '■ now in higher values. Control brings down ■■■ prices. ANOTHER DIGGER. ■ I am compelled to say that I think every gumdigger should send his gum to the Kauri : Gum Control Board, whether in one parcel,or' a hundred. The board takes the same interest/ in all. I know for a, fact that the board is . making progress, so" why not help it? Somes ! of the gumdiggers in the s north have been offered for their gum less than was paid them by thu board. .-.-? : - GUMDIGGEK. *
