MAUI POMARE ARRIVED.

NIAGARA DUE MONDAY.

There have been no arrivals from overseas ports later than tile Slaui Pomare, which reached Auckland late last night fiom Norfolk Island. The Baron Inchcape is running ahead of schedule, and expects to arrive from Montreal to-mor-row afternoon. She will be followed on Monday by the R.M.s. Niagara from Vancouver, while the Marama from Sydney is due on Tuesday morning. Yesterday afternoon the- Waipahi was dispatched for Suva to load for Auckland in place of the Tofua. The only vessel announced to sail for overseas ports to-day is the Kawatiri, which has been recommissioned at short notice to go to Newcastle. The local olllce of the New Zealand Shipping Co. has received cabled advice that the steamer Kemuera, en route from Auckland to Southampton, London, passed through the Panama Canal, and sailed from Colon on Thursday last. She is due at Southampton on October 10, and at London the following day. OMANA RETURNED. An arrival at Auckland this morning was the Lamb steamer Omana from Napier, to complete discharge of her cargo of coal and hardwood from Newcastle and Port Stephens. She is at the Central wharf. After discharge she is to load timber here for Australia. BARON INCHCAPE TO-JIOEKOW. A radio from the steamer Baron Incheape states that she expects to reach Auckland from Montreal to-morrow afternoon. The local portion of her cargo will be discharged at the Prince's wharf, to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Co., and. the remainder at Wellington, Lytteltou, and Duuedin. NIAGARA DUE MONDAY. Due at Auckland at 0.30 a.m. on Monday the Union Co.'s R.M.s. Niagara is to berth at the Prince's wharf to land passengers, mails, and cargo for ' Vancouver, Honolulu, voyage to Sydney at 11 o'clock on Monday night. lONIC TO SAIL. In continuation of her loading itinerary, the Shaw, Savlll and Albion steamer lonic is to sail at 7 a.m. to-morrow for Dunedin. Lyttelton, Napier and Wellington. She is to be dispatched from Wellington on O-tober 6 for Southampton and London.' KAWATIRI RECOMMISSIONED. After a long spell of idleness in the treain the Union Co.'s steamer Kawatiri was recommissloned to-day. She moved- to a berth-at the Queen's, wharf, and is to sail at 5 p.m. for Newcastle to load for Dunedin. Capt. J. Kankinc is in command, and has with him the following officers: First, Mr H S. TEKOA REPORTED. From Auckland, via New York and Boston, the New Zenland Shipping Company's steamer Tekpa reached London on Thursday, according to cable advice. She was dispatched from Auckland on August 10. . MAHANA CLEARED MONTEVIDEO. En route from Auckland to London, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana is reported to have cleared Montevideo last Wednesday. She left Auckland on September 11. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland- wireless station to-night:—Baron Inchcapo, H.M.s. Veronica, Ulimaroa, Waipahi, Marama, Niagara. On Sunday: H.M.s. Veronica, Ulimaroa, Waipahi, Marama, Niagara. GOLDEN STATE SAILED. To put out the remainder of her lumber, case oil and general cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the O. and O. Line steamer Golden State sailed last evening for Wellington and Dunedin. Thence she is to return to San Francisco, via Honolulu. MANUKA DELAYED. The departure from Wellington of the Union Co.'s steamer Manuka, with passengers, mails and cargo for .Melbourne, lias been postponed to 3 p.m. on Monday. She •was previously announced to sail this afternoon. 'FRISCO MAIL STEAMER. Having left Sydney on Thursday evening, the Royal Maunganui is due at Wellington about six o'clock on Monday morning. After loading cargo and mail and embarking passengers from New Zealand she is to resume her vovage to Uarotouga, Papeete and San Francisco on Tuesday.' MARAMA CLEARED SYDNEY. '' Cabled advice from Sydney confirms the departure from there yesterday afternoon of the Union Co.'s steamers Marnma and Maheuo, with passengers, mails ami cargo for Auckland and Wellington respectively. Both vessels are due at their respective ports next Tuesday morning, and the Marama has been allotted a berth tit the Central wharf. They are to sail again for Sydney on Friday. ANTONIO UNDER OVERHAUL. Advantage is being taken of the accident to the Antonio to overhaul the vessel completely. .This morning the broken propeller was unshipped, and the tailshaft sent ashore to bo tested, in case it had been affected by the buffeting which damaged the screw. The engines are also being overhauled, and the vessel is not expected to be ready for sea until the middle of next week. (Henderson and Macfarlaue, agents.) ISLAND STEAMERS. • Replacing the Tofun in the Fiji service, the Union Co.'s steamer Waipahi was dispatched for Suva yesterday afternoon. She is due to return to Auckland about October. IG, and is to sail again for Suva on October Work on the Tofua is proceeding rapidly, •and she is announced to resume her running on Saturday, November 3. On the following voynge, she is to leave Auckland on Monday, December 3, instead of on the previous Saturday. NORTHERN* COMPANY'S MOVEMENTS. Projected Departures. Arriving from Norfolk Island late last night the Government motor ship Maui Pomare anchored in the stream until this morning, when she berthed at the King's wharf. Spedding, Ltd., announce her to sail for Apia and Niue Island on October 10". ■ UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. ' The Waimea left Gisborne at 9 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Napier at 7.311 a.m. to-day. -. She was to leave there at noon to-day for Auckland, where she is due on Monday morning. The Kamona arrived this morniug from Greyinouth and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail at 10 p.m. to-day for Portland to loud cement for Wellington. The Wiugatui is to load at Dunedin on Monday, completing at Oamaru, Timarii and Lyttelton, for Auckland. She will not now cull at Wellington The Katoa arrived at Bluff at 7.30 a.m. to-day, and is to leave this afternoon for Dunedin, Wellington, Pieton and Auckland The Waipiata is to load at Dunedin about October 10 for Auckland, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Kurow arrived last night from Southern ports and berthed at (he Queen's wharf. She is to sail again on Thursday tor Wellington, Lytteltou, Duuediu aud Timaru.
