WATERPROOFING.
•The following mixture given for waterproofing- a coat of unbleached calico inay be of service in the waterproofing of a tent; For two yards of- unbleached calico two yards wide, allow three , pints of *aw linseed oil, a quarter pint of turpentine, about a tablespoon of driers (obtainable from: in oil or paint'dealer). Mix well together. Paint one'side.of x the calico and let dry,'then paint the other sid,e, first adding a small. piece -of .beeswax incited, to the mixture that is. left. " ~"'
