WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
, DOMETT—BRIGHT WELL. • A pretty wedding was solemnised at tho Methodist Church, Taumarunui, on Thursday, September 27, when Esther Mary, eldest daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. Vy. Brightwell, of Taumarunui, was married to James, the youngest son.of Mr. S. Domett, of Okahukura. The Rev. C. Taylor was the officiating minister. The bride wore a pretty frock'of white silk chenille, and the bridesmaids wer.e Misses Phyllis and Elsie'Brightwell. The former wore a frock of cream ray de chine, and the latter's frock was of white crepe de chine. The two flower girls were Miss Hazel Brightwell and Miss Joy Petersen, and Mr. James Domett was the best man. After tho wedding ceremony a reception was held at Mrs. Murray's tea rooms. '
ALDWINCKLE—PURCHASE. ■ A quiet wedding was solemnised in St. Luke's Church, Mount Albert, on September 22 was Gladys youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Purchase, of Mount Albert, ' w'as married ' to- William Harcourt, second son of Mrs. and "the late Mr. Aldwincklc, of Liverpool, England. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of primrose maroeain and lace, with hat and tulle scarf to tone, and carried a posy of primroses. The bridesmaid, little Miss Deazley Anderson, wore a pretty frock vof salmon pink crepe de chine with French colouring, and hat of pale green and pink to tpne, and carried a posy of pink primroses. The Rev. A. Beck officiated, with Mrs. Hunt at the organ, the service being fully choral.
