Determined Efforts. To Effect Clean-up. MANY ARRESTED. (United Service.) TOKYO, October 4. Raids of unknown dimensions were carried out on Communists yesterday. Local mention of them is prohibited. It is supposed that the men now arrested are those who escaped the net in the great raid last Mareh. The majority of the men formerly arrested are now awaiting trial. The Government is endeavouring to restrain •the liberty of every Radical.
