DEMI'SEY. —On October 5, 1928, at Wliangarei Hospital, Maria, dearly be-, loved mother of Ethel, Alice, John and Jim; aged 77. At rest. Funeral (Sunday. I'ORDIE.—On October 3, at her late residence, Waitara, Tarainaki, Mary, beloved wife of Hugh Purdie, and beloved cousin of Mrs. West, Mount Albert Road. Interred this day at Waitara Cemetery. NEILSON. —On October 4, 1928, at Auckland Hospital, Albert Leopold, dearly-beloved husband of Josephine Neilson, Railways, Mercer. Funeral will leave the residence of his sister, Mrs. Brooke-Taylor, Portage Road, New Lynn, for Waiktfmete Cemetery, to-morrow (Saturday), at 2 p.m. STEEL. —On October 4, at her late residence, Lyn wood, Earnoch Avenue, Takapuna, Janet Cameron, widow of the late James 'Steel, Esq., Prestwick, Scotland. Private interment.
