GREYHOUNDS AND WHIPPETS

ASSOCIATION TO BE FORMED. A movement is being made with the object of forming a greyhound and whippet association in Auckland, and at the first meeting, held on Wednesday evening, about fifty enthusiasts were present. All were unanimous that a strong association could be formed, and the opinion was expressed that such an association would become a bis factor in sport. After many suggestions had been made and much preliminary work discussed, it was decided to hold the next meeting on Tuesday next, when it was hoped there would be a big attendance.
