SCENES AT MIDDLEMORE YESTERDAY WHEN THE LADIES' GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP WAS DECIDED.—Great interest was evinced in the Dominion championship final yesterday between Miss D. Chry stall, of Christ church, and Mrs. Guy Williams, of Masterton. The latter, the doyen of ladies golf in New Zealand (she won the championship * decade-ago) was defeated by 2 and 1 to play. On the left, where Miss Chrystall is inset driving, portion of the gallery, which numbered about 600, is seen following the game. The champion is shown in the centre with her trophy of victory, and, on the right, another section of the gallery.
