JiEW PLYMOUTH MAKES A.START.: (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ■ NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. A meeting of residents tliis evening to forru an aero club in New Plymouth. Over 80 members were enrolled. A tentative executive of 12, including five former Air Force pilots, the Mayor, Mr. H. V. S. Griffiths, as 'Chairman, was appointed to proceed with the organisation and to inspect suggested sites for an aerodrome. 1 It was decided to use every endeavour to secure a visit from Sir Joliu Salmond, Coinmander-in-Chief of the Air Defences «>f Britain, during his present tour, in «rder to give added impetus to the loovement. ... r .
