A WORKER'S CLAIM.

ACCIDENT AT ARAPUNI. CASE REFERRED TO DOCTORS. In the Arbitration Court yesterday afternoon Oscar Porola (Mr. Sullivan) claimed compensation from the Sir W. G. Armstrong, Whitworth and Company. Limited (Mr. West), in respect to aii internal injury said to have been received in November last while he was pushing a truck on the dam construction woi;k at Arapuni. The defence denied that the accident had happened, or that the injury had resulted in "the course of plaintiff's work. It was contended by Mr. West that the matter was purely a medical question. ■ Mr. Justice Frazer suggested the appointment of four medical assessors with power to refer to a fifth medical man, of their own choice, any point on which they could not agree. Counsel accepted the suggestion and the case was Adjourned accordingly.
