CONTROL OF ARAPCNI,

The trout-fisliing regulations affecting Arapuni Lake caused a good deal of discussion at the annual meeting of the Te Awaniutu Acclimatisation .Society. It was decided to support the Auckland Society's proposal to restrict thg lower mile of water for fly-fishing, provided tlie rest of the lake was open for trolling from any ltoat. The limit of 15 fish a day was regarded as ample, but if desired the limit could he 12, or cv?n 10. Trolling would apply to the lake and river to the southern boundary of ♦he Auckland Society's territory, though I'oats could not tvoll right to the boundary.
