The annual meeting of' the Remuera Croquet Club wae held In the pavilion, Ro*d ye»tejday, wltt a good attep#aaca of members. 9ba report stated that the past season had been very satisfactory and the finances of the club were in a good condition, JSxtra evpeqse had been entailed in laying out the new green, which the club had succeeded in obtaining, trot members vroitfd now have the privilege of playing on four full-steed lawns. SOUTH SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, this day. At the annual meeting ot the South Suburban Croquet Association, held at Papakura, delegates were present from the Pukekohe, Clevedon, Buckiand, Tuakau, Waiuku, Papakura, and Manurew* clubs. The president. Mra. C. C. Munro, presided. The balance sheet shewed a credit balance of £18 7/4. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mrs. E. D. McLennan; president, Mrs. c. C, Munro; vice-presidents, Mrs. R, Fitness and C. Butcher j secretary and treasurer, Mrs. B- Forbes (all reelected). The Waluku Oub's application for reamUation was granted. It was agreed to commence the couipetl-t tions on November G, the draw being as follow :—A grade: Clevedon v. Pukekohe, at Clevedon; Waluku v. Tuakau. at Tuakau: Buckiand v. Manurewa, at Mnnurewa, B grade: CJevedon v. Pukekohe, at Pukekohe ; Manurewa v. Buckiand. at Buckland; Papakura v. Mauku, at Mauku.
