DISASTROUS FIRE.
Colonial Sugar Refining Co. Suffers. £25,000 DAMAGE TO MACHINES (Received 12 noon.J X SYDNEY, this day. Fire, near midnight, in the boilerhouse 'of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company's premises in the Pyrmont suburb, caused damage totalling £25,000. The outbreak is now under control. The coal bunkers were well alight when the firemen arrived and the fire spread to the machinery, which was considerably damaged, but the sugar stocks were not affected.
