ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT.

(Before Mr. F. H. Levien.) By-law Breaches. —Victor A. Collins, G. G. Whistler, S. Tucker, E. W. Aspinall, R. J. Crosby, A. E. Carson, L. H. Grafton, H. C. Martin, S. C. Francis, F. G. Halligan, S. S. Stone, and C. A. Paape were each convicted for speeding over an intersecting street in Onehunga, and they were fined in sums ranging from 20/ to 60/, with costs. Their 6peed ranged from 2" 1 miles to 37 miles per hour. Without Lights.—F. W. Craig and N. Coad were ordered to pay 10/ each, with 10/ costs, for having no lights on their vehicles. It cost S. R. August 14/ for permitting a hoy to ride on a motor cycle in front of the driver. Miscellaneous. — Frank Morgan was fined 20/ for usin™ obscene language, and Andrew Mnrdock 10/ for breach of a proliibiton order. For procuring liquor while prohibited he was convicted and discharged. It cost Herbert Kinemont 20/ for breaking his prohibition order. A PROHIBITED AREA. William Preston was fined 20/, with costs £9 12/, for taking sand from a prohibited area on Graham's Beach, on the Manukau Harbour. For a second offencc he was convicted and ordered to pay 25/ costs.
