STORM WATER IN KARANGAHAPE ROAD The recent heavy hailstorm which passed over Auckland was particularly heavy in Karangahapo Road, blocking the roof gutters of several business premises. Amongst the sufferers was the old-estab-lished firm of H. and C'. Laftib, furnishing ironmongers. Some of the stock, which was only slightly damaged by flood water, is now being sold at specially reduced prices, and all in search of bargains in furniture and household ironmongery should see these lines. — (Ad.)
