FIRE IN LORNE STREET.
An unoccupied house in Lorne Street, the property of Mr. G. N. Potter, caught fire at about 7 o'clock last evening. The City Fire Brigade received a call by means of a street fire alarm, and was quickly on the scene. Before the flames could be quelled, however, the interior of the house, a double tenement, was badly damaged. The property is not insured.
