Owing to a gift of £500 from Mr. ,!nhn Edmonds, of Melbourne, formerly of Duuedin, the council of the Univernitv of Otago has found it possible to increase the value of the John Edruond research Fellowship io £240 per annum. Applications for a fellowship are now being called. <
