Oα September 12 a middle-aged resident of Takapuna was found wandering about in a dazed condition, with his throat cut. .A policeman was called, and took the unfortunate man to the hospital'. The man had been living in a bach at Takapuna, and committed the act while in a fit of depression. Accused told the magistrate that he would pay all the expenses.
