NEW AGREEMENT WITH SYDNEY,

STATE CHATRMAN ATTENDS

WELLINGTON, Wednesday.

A conference between the management committee of the New Zealand RugbyUnion and Mr. R. O. Martin, chairman of the New South Wales Rugby Union, was held this evening for the purpose of drawing up a fresh agreement for future visits between New South Wales and New Zealand. The visit of the British team wa? also considered.

The proceedings were taken in committee and the result of the conference is to be made known to the New South Wales Union . before the agreement is adopted.

Following are the matches for Saturday next:— SENIOR GRADE. University v. Ponsonby, Eden Park, No. 1. 3 p.m., Mr. F. E. Sutherland; Marist v. Marathon, Show Grounds, No. 2, 3 p.m., Mr. C. F.
