CHICAGO WHEAT VALUES. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) CHICAGO, September 26. Wheat for delivery in September is quoted at Chicago at per bushel. For December delivery the rate is $1.18%, for March $1.22 1 / 2 , and for May $1.25%. LONDON WOOL SALES. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, September 2C. At the wool sales 13,576 bales were offered, of which 2263 were Australian and 5000 New Zealand. There was a small selection of Merinos, and a good offering of greasy crossbreds, topmaking style, with a large catalogue of slipes. Prkvn were firm, with better competition. Owners were meeting the market, there being fewer withdrawals. Tukemohiki, 18d to 17d. AUSTRALIAN POSITION. Overseas buyere in Australia are feeling the effects of the acute labour troubles there. When the mail left there were over 100,000 bales on their liande, bought at the Sydney, Brie-bane and Adelaide sales, and held up from shipment. Orders from ; abroad have been cancelled and wool sales ' postponed indefinitely. The National Council of Wool-selling Brokere of Australia reports that for the season, July 1 to August 31, wool has been dealt with ae follows:— 1925. 1927. Bales. Bales.
