A j-ounp woman. Mis 1 , ,. Maxwell aged I*;, uf 9. p af rot .street, and M;«s \. M. Braylie.Jd, aged 14. of 4. Mfreer Road. Ponsonhy. were knocked down in Broadway, Newmarket, ffy a motor-car last evening, as they were preparing U board a tramcar.
They were Uken into Mr. Teed's chemist shop, where first aid was rendered, and were then nremoved to the hospital in an ambulance. Miss Xax well was suffering from interna; injuries and Mis Brayfield from shock. The condition of neither patient was regarded as seriou-.
