MAHENO IN PORT.
GAXUC TO SAIL.
With the arrival this morning of the Maheno from Sydney and the Raven6car from Red Sea ports via Wellington, the tonnage in port was considerably increased, and is now considerably greater than it has been for some time. Further expected arrivals to-day include the Antonio from Morocco, and the Kaitangata from Australian ports via South, while to-morrow the Turakina is due from Liverpool, the Omana from Australia, and the Golden State from Los Angeles. Departures to-day included the R.M.m.s. Aorangi for Vancouver, while the Ha.tkhola is to sail for Wellington this afternoon to continue discharge of her general cargo from the East. HUIA AT BRISBANE. Cabled advice from Brisbane states tliat the Nobel Co.'s auxiliary topsail schooner Huia arrived there from Greymouth yesterday. ROTORUA HOME. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua is reported to have readied i London from New Zealand on Sunday. She sailed from Welliagton on August IS. OMANA TO-MORROW. An expected arrival at Auckland tomorrow is the Lamb steamer Oruana, with coal and hardwood from Newcastle and Port Stephens. The Northern Shipping Co. are the local agents. THE KAITANGATA. Due at Auckland from Wellington at 10 p.m. to-day, the Union Co.'s steamer Kaitangata is to berth at the Prince's wharf to complete discharge of her cargo of Australian produce. GALLIC SAILS TO-MORROW. L. D. Nathan and Co. announce the White Star steamer Gallic to sail at daybreak to-morrow, taking New Zealand produce for discharge at New York. Boston, Halifax. London. Avonmouth. Liverpool and Glasgow. HAKUOLA SAILS AT 5 P.M. ' To continue discnarge of her cargo of Eastern produce, the Union Co."s chartered steamer Hakhola is to sail at 5 p.m. today for Wellington. Thence she is to go to Australia to load for the return voyage to Calcutta. MAUNGANUI AT WELLINGTON. From San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga. the Union Co.'s tt-M.rf. Maunganui arrived at Wellington yesterday after- '■ noon, and resumes her voyage to Sydney at 10 p.m. to day. She is due at Sydney next Saturday. AORANGI SAILED. In continuation of her voyage from Sydney, the Union Co.'s RM.m.'s. Aorangi left Auckland this morning with passengers, mails and cargo for Suva. Honolulu and Vancouver. She is due at Vancouver on October 12. ULIMAROA IN GALE. Westerly gales are delaying the Huddarf. Parker steamer Ulimaroa, en route from Wellington to Sydney, and she has reported to Sydney that she will not reach there until 6 p.m. to-day. She is scheduled to leave there next Friday for Auckland, arriving here the following Tuesday. RAVENSCAR DISCHARGING. Arriving from Wellington this morning. the steamer Ravenscar berthed at the King's wharf, to unload the local portion of her canro of Red Sea phosphate.
