The Berlin correspondent of the ‘ Times” states that, inscribed “Woe to the Vanquished,” a huge granite tower, has been erected at Kiel in memory of th« German submarines and the anniversary of the sinking of the British cruisers, Aboukir, Hogue and Cressy with 1500 lives.
“Der Tag” says that the memorial perpetuates the tradition of the old Imperial Navy.
