Bl SHOP. —On September 24. at the Auckland Hospital, Francis, dearly beloved husbaifd of L. F. Bishop, and father of Mrs. C. L. Clarke; aged 80 years; late secretary Waihl Hospital. With Christ, which is far better. Private interment.

LORD.—On September 23. at his residence, Howick. Samuel Joseph, beloved husband of Elizabeth Lord, in his eightyfifth year. K.I.P. The funeral will leave his late residence to-morrow (Tuesday), nt 1.30 p.m., for the Roman Catholic Cemetery. McANNALLEY—On September 22, 1928, at the Auckland Hospital. Storey, dearly beloved husband of Myrtle McAnnalley, and eldest son of Jane and the late John McAnnalley, of Manurewa, late of N.Z. Railways, aged 31 years. R.I.P. Interred this day at Papakura.

Funeral will leave her late residence for Mangere Cemetery at 2 p.m., Tuesday, 25th. TOWGOOD.—On September 23, 1928 (suddenly). at the Auckland Hospital, William Herbert, beloved husband of Harriet Towgood, of Great South Road, Papakura; aged 69 'years. The funeral will leave C. Little and Sons. Ltd., 209, Hobson Street, to-morrow (Tuesday), at 2 p.m., for Hillsboro’ Cemetery.

WHYTE. — On September 23, 1928 (suddenly), David, relict of the late Agnes Main Whvte and beloved father of Andrew and Mary, of Glasgow, Scotland, and David, Jessie and Agnes, of Auckland; nged 74 years.
