THE FRANKLIN SHOW.

At .1 meeting of the South Franklin show executive, preliminary arrangements were made for the show, to be held on November 22 and 23.

The secretary. Mr. 11. E. Kissliug. was instructed to finalise arrangements for a lecture by F>r. Annett. of Matangi. on “Modern Top-dressing. - ’ It was decided that this lecture should be held at Pukekoi'’’- and that later lectures should be held iu other centres in the Franklin district.

It was decided to put into practice the suggestion made at the annua] meeting of the society that meetings of members should be arranged to discuss experiences and views in regard to new agricultural methods. The president. Messrs. J. Pollock and R. C. Clark and the secretary were appointed to arrange meetings at various centres In tha society’s district for this purpose.
