An interclub match played at Pupuke between the Pupuke and Akarana Ladies* Club resulted in a win for the home side by 7 games to 3. Following are the results, Akarana players being mentioned first:— Miss Darrach lost to Mrs. Craven, 2 and 1; Mrs. McCarthy lost to Miss A. O’Neill, 3 and 2; Mrs. Symes lost to Mrs. Blomfield. 1 up; Mrs. Gilmour defeated Mrs. Thompson, 1 up; Mrs. Mueller defeated Mrs. Bowden, 1 up ‘ Miss Miner lost to Miss Williams, 2 up; Miss G. Parr defeated Mrs. Clark, 2 and 1; Mrs. Brown lost to Mrs. Rutherford, 1 up; Mrs. I earniey lost to Mrs. Davidson, 4 and 2; Mrs. Preston lost to Mrs. Tysos, 3 and 2.
