AERIAL CROSS.
FORMED BY ’PLANES.
PAGEANT IN SYDNEY SKY.
FEATURE OF EUCHARISTIC GATHERING.
“One of tbe most impressive things that I saw in connection with the Eucharistic gathering in Sydney was an aerial cross formed by ’planes,” said a Wanganui resident who returned to-day by the Aorangi.
When a Eucharistic procession waa taking place a number of ’planes came into perfect position overhead and formed a cross. It waa an inspiring sight in the clear sky as the big ernes slowly changed position, always returning to a central point above the procession. It was a wonderful piece ef collective flying and the shape of tto cross was kept intact throughout.
