WORD-MAKING.
Hare you e-rcr played this gj.n;ei J* Is good fun. The players sit iu a circl-r. and someone thinks of a loiter. He or sl» miiat also iliink of a vorj commencing with that let u>r. The neit player adds a second letter, Lading a word on his or In-r uiind commencing with those two letters. Four or fi>e letters must be iu th« word—no fewer, but as many more aj an be added, to make an even longer word. It is surprising, however, the difficulty one tinds in thinking of a word beginning with the two or three let tors thought of by someone else. One may put a word iu frout of thosi letter.-, instead of at the end, of course, stating whether it comes before or after! When a player can think of no letter] either before Or after those given, that will help to make a word, then he or she may challenge the last player asking—"What is your word?" * . If tiio player has no real word, readv m his mind, then he is not the vriane: but is "out." •
