The lonely island of St. Kilda, off the const of Scotland, it is understood is for sale at £3000. The island is 3M miles long and two miles wide, and has a population of 43. For eight months annually it is cut off from regular communication with the outside world, save for the spasmodic calls of Fleetwood fishing steamers, which convey the mails to the island and take provisions.
