INDOOR BOWLING.
WAITEMATA TOURNAMENT. The Waltemata indoor bowline tournament for the Corban Challenge Cup was brought to a conclusion this week, When the semi-finals and finals took place. The teams taking part were:—Star of Avondale Bebekah No. 2 team. Mandate Oddfellows, and teams of Foresters from Henderson. The game between two Oddfellows' teams, one skipped by 3. 8. Bowe and the other by I. Johnston, was most interesting right through, and "kitty" had rather a rough time of it. The veteran Howe came out the winner. The Rebekahs had a win over the Henderson Foresters. The final game was between the Rebekahs (Miss Shearer, Miss Lille, Mrs. Clements, W. Willoughby, skip) and the Oddfellows (Somerville, Biely, Reistier, and Bowe, ■kip), Bowe winning after a good contest.
