SPRING CLEANING.

(Published By Arrangement.)

LET US HELP!

Spring cleaning, as every lady knows, means much more than the cleaning of floors and the polishing of windows, etc. A most important part of the work consists of the cleaning of blankets, rugs, curtains, cushions, and soft furnishings of all kinds, a also the treatment of carpets, carpet' squares, runners, and so forth, and it is in connection with these soft furnishings and carpets, etc., that we can help materially to save time and labour, the facilities at our command at our factory enabling us to do this work far better and far quicker than it can possibly be done at home. If we can assist, all you have to do is to ring up 13-000, and .one of our motor vans will call for your goods and return them when ready. Ladies will also he interested to learn that we are now devoting extraordinary attention to hemstitching, pleating and embroidery work. We have now installed three machines for hemstitching, Including one for heavy work, such as towels,' supper cloths, linen sheets, etc. Bedspreads we can copy or make to order from our own designs. Our machine pleater turns out work that is not excelled the world over. It produces over 250 varieties of pleating in all the newest -patterns and designs. We also have a greater steam pressure than any other pleating house, owing to the fact that we find it necessary to have high steam pressure in connection with our cleaning and dyeing departments—and the greater the steam pressure the better the pleats set. Our embroidery work on net is the most beautiful of its kind, and is suitable for evening gowns, dresses, shawls, scarfs, cushion covers, etc. Made-up frocks can be exquisitely embroidered, also lingerie, curtains and bedspreads. Our chain and spray embroidery never fails to excite admiration. • It is worthy of special note that owing to the rapid expansion of our business we have recently purchased an additional fleet of motor vans—the famous Chevrolet model. This enables us to give our many patrons a better service than ever. It only remains to add that the other departments of our extensive business continue to flourish beyond our most sanguine expectations. The "Crothall Way" of wearing apparel renovation is now universally popular; our remodelling department is constantly busy, and so also is our alteration and repair department, and all our other departments. Whatever we take in hand we do efficiently and well, sparing. no pains to ensure satisfaction. Hence our success!
