WAIKATO HOUNDS.
. TE GOOD BUN NEAR TAURANGA. « (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, Thursday. The Waikato hounds held their flwt meet in the Tauranga district yesterday, under somewhat frying weather eondltioM at Otumoetai. The Master of the Hunt, Mr. Wynn Brown, expressed great pleasure at being once again in Tauranga, whew some of his happiest days had been spent in the hunting field. There was a large attendance of mount* and a very good run was experienced, the hounds pntting np three hairs, the last of which got away as the hounds had to be called off on account of lateness of th# hour.
