JAPANESE BUDGET.
SHORTAGE OF £4,000,000. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.! TOKYO, September 19. The Japanese Budget estimates for 1029 are:—Expenditure, £171,000.000; revenue, £167,000,000, leaving a shortage of £4,000.000. The decreased revenue estimated is due to business depression. The Minister of Finance reported that he was not in favour of the flotation of bonds at the present rates of exchange.
