SHEEPSKINS CHEAPER. At yesterday's local sale hides and calfskins were firm at late rates, but dried and salted sheepskins showed a sharp drop. The following prices were realised:— Cowhides.—Best grade, light, 10% d per lb; medium, 10% d; heavy, 10% d; second grade, 9%d to 9%d; cut, 7%d to 9%d. Ox, light, 10% dto 10% d; medium, heavy, ll%d; second grade, 9Mid to lOd; kips, best grade,'ll %d to ll%d; second grade, lOd to 10% d; yearlings, best grade, 12% dto 13d,' second grade, 10% dto lid; calfskins, best, light, 17% dto 18d; medium, 17% dto 19% d; heavy, 13d to 13% d; second grade, light and medium, 14d to 14% d; cut and slippy, 10% dto ll%d.
