TONGARIRO PARK FINANCES.

The annual report of the Tongariro National Park Board discloses that the income Last year totalled £877, of which £493 was contributed by way of park ftes and £270 by way of Government grant for rangers' salary. The actual cash and deposit assets are worth £4360. Last year 1205 people visited the huts at Whakapapa, and 200 visited Ohakune hut, making a total of 1405, a steady increase over previous years.
