ON MISSION FUNDS.
GIRLS ENTER MOVIES. ATLANTA (Georgia), September 14. Mr. Clinton Carnes, the gay treasurer of the Baptist Church, who disappeared, leaving the mission accounts 1,000,000 dollars short, spent some of that money backing girl friends in the movies. An audit shows that for the last six months.he spent 10,000 dollars ( £2000) sending Miss Sonia Nordle and Miss Lois Griffin to Hollywood and getting then! engagements. The girls signed an agreement to divide the profits with Carnes if they ever made good.
