Mr. Samuel Low, president of the Carting Brewing Company, of London, Ontario, was kidnapped at Detroit. He is now being held for ransom of £7000. The police unsuccessfully attempted to trap the kidnappers. CARD PLAYERS HELD UP. BANDITS LED SY WOMAN. (United Service.) ' NEW YORK, September 18. Three bandits, led by a woman, all of them being armed, held up 12 persons who were playing cards, collected £400, and escaped. One of the victims of the robbery was a policeman. He was off duty and was not armed.
