KINTYRE ARRIVED. DEVON FROM LIVERPOOL. Last night the Kintyre arrived from Nauru, but the Devon, from Liverpool, did not make port until this morning. The next overseas steamer due is the Ravensear, from Ked Sea ports, but she has not yet reported. Departures yesterday afternoon included the Port Napier, for Dunedin and Bluff, to continue discharge of her cargo from London. This afternoon the Sussex and Wairuna are to sail for southern ports, to continue unloading overseas cargoes.

The "Kaitangata arrived at Lyttelton from Dunedin at 9.30 a.m. to-day, and is to sail at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington and Auckland to continue discharge of her cargo of Australian produce. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on October 23. PAKEHA TO LOAD. Owing to bad weather at Wanganui, the Shaw, Savlll and Albion steamer Pakeha is some days behind her schedule. All well." __^_ THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. From Auckland via New York and Boston the Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander is reported to have arrived at Montreal ou Monday. She left here on August 1. PORT WELLINGTON FOR NEW ZEALAND. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line has received advice that the Port Wellington is scheduled to leave London for Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth on October 10. SUSSEX TO SAIL. / In continuation of her voyage from Calcutta and East Indian Ports, the Union Co.'s steamer Sussex is to sail at 8 p.m. to-day for Wellington, Lyttclton, Dunedin, Timarn and Bluff. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless station to-night: Tofua, Maui Pomare, Port Hunter, Spinanger, Berwicklaw, City . of Cambridge, Sussex, Wairuna, Kaituna, Hatkhola, Antonio. HATKHOLA COMING. En route from Calcutta, Rangoon > and Singapore, the Union chartered steamer Hatkhola was to leave Sydney at 7 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due about Monday next. From here en « is to go to Wellington to complete discharge. HAURAKI AT LOS ANGELES. For final loading for New Zealand and Australian ports the Union Co.'s motor ship Hanraki left San Francisco on Monday for Los Angeles. She is scheduled to clear Los Angeles on Sunday next for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney, and is due here on October 7.

PORT XAPIER SAILED. To put out the remainder of her general cargo from London, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Xapier sailed yesterday afternoon for Dunedin and Bluff. It is not yet definitely known whether shewill load in New Zealand this month, as she has been so much delayed. RUAHINE TO LOAP. Thn local office of the N. 35. Shipping Co. advises that the steamer Ruahine, which is due at Wellington from London on October 10. will complete discharge at Lyttelton, and thence come to -Auckland for Homeward loading. She is due here on October 2ft. THE WAIRUNA. To continue dlschar/e of her cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the Union Company's steamer Wairuna is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. Thence she is to return to Auckland to sail for Vancouver, via Apia and Fanning Island. KINTYRE DISCHARGING. An arrival at Auckland last evening was the steamer Kintyre, with a full cargo of phosphate from Nauru. She berthed this morning at the Kines Wharf to discharge .the Ineil portion of ber cargo to the agency of Henderson and Maefarlane. Ltd. It is hoped to dispatch her on Friday afternoon for Lyttelton to complete discharge. GALLIC TO FILL UP. L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd. have received advice that the White Star Line steamer Gallic is to leave Napier for Gisborne and Auckland to-morrow night to complete loading for New York, Boston Halifax and West Coast ports of Great Britain. Tho vessel is due at Auckland next Monday, and is to "be dispatched for New York on the following Thursday. DEVON DISCHARGING. Arriving from Liverpool early this morning, the Federal steamer Devon (Captain G. Kinnell) berthed at tho Queen's wharf to discharge the local portion of her cargo to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. «he loaded at Newport, Avonmouth. Glasgow and Liverpool, und sailed from the latter port on August 5 Fine weather was experienced until last Sunday when a south-west cyclone was encountered. Heavy seas broke aboard, but did no serious damage, though the vessel'* speed was brought down to about two knots. Strong westerly winds continued until the vessel reached port twentv-four hours later than expected. Besides cargo the Devon has 200 bags of English mail. The local office of the N.Z. Shipping Co. hope to dispatch her at noon on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton.
