AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE. Another advance took place to-day in the price of New Zealand Loan and Mercantile ordinary shares, a sale being reported as high as £115. Business was also done in Soldiers' 5% per cent Inscribed Loan (1933) at £101. Bank of New South Wales shares firmed 5/, buyers quoting £50 15/, but there were no sellers. New Zealand Bank shares again changed hands at £3 1/3, and for National Banks £7 3/ could be got. Better pricey were also offered for English ana Scottish Bank shares, but £8 11/ did not lead to sales being made. National Bank of Australasia contributing shares also firmed to buyers at £9 10/6. Further business was done in Auckland G-as shares at £1 3/1 at the first call, and Westport-Stockton Coal ordinary issue were placed at 3/9. Buyers of Farmers' Auctioneering shares advanced their price to £2 15/ to-day. Waihi shares changed hands at the first call at 12/10, but subseqvently 13/ was paid. Mount Lyell shares firmed a little, business being recorded at £1 15/6. BUSINESS DONE. AT THE 10 A.M.
