OHINEMIJRI JOCKEY CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. Tho annual meeting of the Oliineuiuri Jockey Chib was held on Saturday evening, Mr. P. E. Breiian presiding. The report and balance-sheet showed that the club had experienced a successful season, both, from financial aud racing viewpoints. The committee failed to obtain au extra permit for a spring meeting. The net profit last season was £1027. Tho amount passed through the totalisator placed the club in sixth position among the 80 odd racing clubs of tho Dominion. The taxation amounted to £4488, and rated £135. Stakes paid totalled £3827, and £187 was spent on. course improvements.Messrs. P. E. Brenan, T. Barrett, W. Noil, and F. Tiemey were elected to the four vacancies on the committee.
