WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
fcßi-HS—KENNERLEY. A very pretty wedding was solemnised ;it tliu Poiisonby Baptist Church on Mond.iy evening, when Miss Elsie Jean, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Keiiiierloy, of Elleuslie, was married to .Mr. .Reginald Bettis,, of Hamilton, youngest son of Mrs. \V. Bettis, of Grey Lynn. The church was beautifully decorated with a ruin lilies and spring ilowers, and the Hev. K. N'ic-holls was the officiating minister, while Air. Bert Evane officiated at the organ. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a frock of ivory embossed georgette, with diamante trimming. Her veil, of embroidered tulle, was held in place by a pearl coronet and formed a train. She tarried a shower bouquet ot spring flowers and maidenhair fern. Ihe bri-le was attended by two bridesmaids, M,ss B. Kennerley and Miss E. Bfcttis, enters of the bride and. bridegroom respectively. They WO re frocks ot p,nk and mauve ring velvet, with , headdress of tulle and eifver leaves 1 ?•"?, c * rned tpeqneU to tone. The two , little flower girls, Miss Pearl Bolons and , Miss Joan Kennerley. looked sweet in . lemon frilled net frocks over silver, with i I tulle headdresses also over silver.' The - bridegroom was attended by Mr \V Terj enson. of Kllerslie, as best man' and I Mr. K- Woodside. of Grey Lynn, as ; groomsman. After the ceremony a r«. • ception wae held at Surrey Crescent I Hall, where about sixty guests wer« i., entertained.
