AMUSEMENTS.
McMAHON'S PICTURES.
McMahon's Picture Company drew another. large, attendance last night. -..The performance seems nightly to gain in popularity,"and: deservedly so. The pictures possess real intrinsic merit. "Robbery Under Arms" provided all the sensationalism in a singularly- realistic manner that one could reasonably crave for, whilst the humorous pictures are really unique, rib-cracking, and absurdly funny. Pleasing interludes are provided by Miss Iris Vance in illustrated songs, and by Mr Howard Vernon and Miss Virria De Loitte in an original cos--tume characterisation pf "Kip Van Winkle*' .To-morrow.afternoon a matinee will be given, when the who will-be specially catered for, will be admitted to all parts of, the. house at half price. For the evening's- entertainment a change of .programme is announced .. . ■ . ■ OPERA HOUSE. A large audience greeted the various members of. Fuller's Vaudeville Coy. at the Opera House last night. .The.programme this week is'diverse and entertaining, and the performing artists were last night all in happy strain. 'Mr John Fuller's contributions, "O Summer Night" and "Tell Her I Love Her So" were • vociferously applauded,- while a feature of the evening was the clever acrobatic turn by Morris' and Wilson. A number of- new appearances are billed for to-morrow night,, including Stewart, Stirling, and Dunbar, musical'sketch artists, Miss Violet Dunville, balladist, Zemphy, lightning blindfold artist, and the Valdenes,' trick cyclists and "jugglers.
