At the Supreme TTaiirT *ms morning, before Mr. Justice Denhiston, Charlea William Utting, a young "man, petitioned for a dissolution of his marriage" with, Ethel Lilly Utting on the grounds of her adultery with a Chinaman named Willie WahiHung, who was cited, as correspondent. Mr. Stewart appeared for the petitioner, and although .'a defence had been filed, thers was no appearance of the respondent or co-respondent. The petitioner, a young man, - said He was married to respondent on 30th March; .1904. About six months after their -marriage he had trouble with his wife. Six months later he found his wife had misconducted herself. He condoned the offence ano - * uer hack. About the beginning of this year he discovered that his wife- was living in Hamilton, and subsequently in Auckland, with the co-re-spondent. In April he interviewed his wife," and she admitted misconduct with the co-respondent. She subsequently went back to live with the Chinaman.

A witness deposed to serving respondent with a notice of the proceedings at a shop kept by the co-respondent in Vic-toria-street, Auckland. He also served-a notice on co-respondent.

Alfred James Lindsay, a second-hand dealer, carrying on business near co-te-spondeht-, -said he knew that the. latter had a female living with him.

Hamer Theophilus Gillman deposed that he knew the respondent. She was living with co-respondent.

A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months, with- costs against the co-respondent. His Honor said that owing to the impudence of-the defence filed, and the fact that petitioner had been put to all the trouble of finding sureties, he would grant costs on the highest scale "against the co-respondent." -
